Textile Recycling Process

Distinct recovery paths for wool and plastic-based textile inputs.

The two material routes are shown separately so the process is clear without repeating the general recycled-material message.

Animal Fibre Route

Wool

Used wool garments and textiles are collected, sorted, and opened back into fibre before returning to fabric manufacturing.

Recover old wool garments and textile materials.

02 Sort & Open

Separate materials and open the collected textile back into fibre.

03 Regenerate

Prepare recovered fibre as recycled wool input.

04 Remanufacture

Use regenerated fibre in renewed fabric production.

Synthetic Fibre Route

Plastic

Disposable plastic products can be recovered and engineered into recycled fibre for renewable fabric programmes.

01 Recover

Collect disposable PET packaging through safe recovery channels.

02 Prepare

Pack, ship, screen, sort, clean, and crush the recovered material.

03 Convert

Deep-separate and process polyester particles into recycled fibre.

04 Manufacture

Create recycled fabric, complete finishing and inspection, then proceed to product manufacturing.

Traceable Supply Chain

Raw-material visibility supports social and environmental risk assessment.

The brochure identifies organic, additive-free, and traceable wool directions. Final sourcing and mark claims must be checked against current documentation.

Wool Degradation Experiment

100% wool compared with 100% acrylic.

The brochure presents a side-by-side visual comparison using a thick wool fabric sample.

Initial Stage

Both fibre samples begin as visibly intact knitted material.

After Three Months

The wool side shows visible breakdown while the acrylic side remains more intact.

After Six Months

The wool side is substantially degraded; the acrylic side remains visibly present.

Animal Fibre Carbon Cycle

From grass to garment, recovery, and return.

The brochure presents animal fibres as materials that can participate in the natural cycle through reuse, recycling, and biodegradation.

It separately notes that synthetic fibres such as nylon, acrylic, and polyester should be managed through scientific recycling processes to reduce direct disposal and environmental pollution.

Goal 01

Reduced Climate Impact

Renewable energy, including solar panels, is presented as a way to reduce greenhouse-gas impact. Existing company-profile materials also reference electricity, steam, natural gas, and biomass fuel management.

Goal 02

Reduce Chemical Emissions by 50%

The programme states a target to reduce chemical emissions from fabric dyeing while controlling wastewater and dust through workshop dust removal, water recycling and treatment, and solid-waste recovery equipment.
